ShaddiNikah

A rishta for a second marriage

A second nikah after divorce or the loss of a spouse is a normal part of life, and it deserves the same care as a first. The difficulty is usually finding families who are genuinely open to it. ShaddiNikah handles this with plain settings on both sides, so a profile is suggested to families who have said yes to that situation, and not to families who have said no.

Saying it on your profile

Marital status is a required answer: unmarried, divorced, widow or widower, or living apart. Anyone who has been married before is asked how many children they have. Both are shown to families who see the profile, so the conversation starts honestly and nobody is surprised later.

Who your profile is suggested to

Every family chooses which marital statuses it would accept and answers “Is a person with children okay?” with yes, no, or maybe if the family agrees. A family that left out divorced profiles, or set “unmarried only” as a deal-breaker, is not shown yours. A family that answered no on children is not shown a profile with children.

These answers are never widened, even when a family’s list is short. That works in your favour: the families who do see your profile are the ones that said they are open to it.

Setting your own preferences

  • Include every marital status you would genuinely consider. Leaving the list empty means all are accepted.
  • Answer the question on children for yourself, too — some families looking for a second nikah are glad to welcome children, and some are not ready.
  • Use deal-breakers sparingly; they are never relaxed.

Privacy

Some people prefer to keep a second search quiet. Photos can be shown to everyone who sees the profile, only after both sides say yes, or to no one, and the profile can be hidden from Settings at any time and shown again later. ID papers are seen only by staff.

Family involvement

The profile can be made by the person, or by a parent for a son or daughter, and families may read along in chat. A chat opens only after both sides accept, and numbers are shared through a request the other family must allow.

Questions

Are divorced and widowed people welcome on ShaddiNikah?

Yes. Divorced, widowed and living apart are all marital statuses on the profile, and families choose whether to include them.

Will families who only want an unmarried rishta see my profile?

No. If they set “unmarried only” or left your status out of the ones they accept, your profile is not suggested to them.

Do I have to say how many children I have?

Yes, if you have been married before. It lets families who are open to children find you, and spares you families who are not.

Can I hide my profile while I think things over?

Yes. Hide it from Settings at any time and show it again later. While it is hidden, other families cannot see it.
