Registering from the UAE
- Choose the United Arab Emirates as your country. Fees are charged in UAE dirhams, and the identity document is your passport.
- The registration fee is paid once, together with your first month, and covers the identity check. The amount is shown before you pay; plans are compared on the membership page.
- Support is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Pakistan time — 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the UAE.
Living in the UAE, family in Pakistan
If you live in the Emirates while the wider family is in Pakistan, the profile shows both halves of that picture. The city you live in and your home town are separate fields, alongside your country of birth, nationality, and the city where your family lives. A family in Pakistan reading your profile can see where the boy or girl lives now and where the family comes from.
You can list the countries you would accept a rishta from — the UAE, Pakistan, both, or others — and mark country as most important if it matters.
Seeing and hearing before travelling
When families are in different countries, a short video can save a trip. A profile can carry an optional intro video, and when you ask the other family to share numbers you can also ask for a video introduction. Neither is required.
Contact stays between families
A chat opens only after both sides accept an interest. Phone numbers and email addresses typed into chat are removed automatically, so contact happens through the number-sharing step, which the other family must allow. Block and Report are in every chat.
Where the couple will live after the shadi, and any residence or work permits that involves, is for the families to arrange; ShaddiNikah does not advise on visas.
Questions
Which ID is needed to register from the UAE?
Your passport. A CNIC is only asked for when Pakistan is chosen as the registration country.
Is the fee charged in dirhams?
Yes. Choosing the United Arab Emirates sets the currency to UAE dirhams for both the registration fee and the plan.
Can I look for a rishta in Pakistan while living in Dubai?
Yes. In your preferences, list the countries you would accept — Pakistan, the UAE, or both — or leave it open.
When can I reach support from the UAE?
Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM UAE time (10:00 AM to 6:00 PM in Pakistan). Email can be sent at any time.
