ShaddiNikah

Rishta in Karachi

Karachi brings together families from every part of Pakistan, which makes a wide rishta search possible — and makes it more important to say clearly what your family is looking for. On ShaddiNikah you set those details once, then receive a daily list of suggested profiles that fit, each one checked by our staff before it is shown.

Create AccountHow it works

A city of many communities

Every profile records a mother tongue — Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi, Saraiki and others — and the other languages the person speaks. These are shown on the profile so your family can judge for itself; they are not used as an automatic filter, so a good rishta is not hidden because of a language.

Caste is recorded on every profile as well, with Memon, Syed, Qureshi, Ansari, Sheikh, Pathan, Baloch and others on the list. You can choose the castes you would consider, or make “same caste only” a deal-breaker.

Sect

For Muslim profiles, sect is a required field: Sunni, Shia, Deobandi, Barelvi, Ahl-e-Hadith or other. If your family will only consider a rishta within your own sect, set “same sect only” as a deal-breaker. Profiles with a different sect are then never suggested, and this setting is never relaxed.

Marital status and children

In your preferences you pick which marital statuses you would accept — unmarried, divorced, widowed or living apart — or set “unmarried only” as a deal-breaker. Profiles state the number of children where there are any, and you can say whether you would accept a rishta with children. If you say no, profiles with children are not suggested.

When very few profiles fit

A long list of strict preferences can leave a daily list nearly empty. When that happens, the matching widens some preferences step by step — first the age range, then the countries you listed, then preferred castes, then minimum education and income, and finally family set-up — only as far as needed. Deal-breakers, religion, the marital statuses you chose and your answer on children are never widened.

If something must hold no matter what, make it a deal-breaker. If it matters but is not essential, mark it as most important so profiles that meet it count for more.

Registering from Karachi

Choose Pakistan as your country: your CNIC is the ID document and fees are in Pakistani rupees. The registration fee is paid once with your first month and covers the identity check; plan prices are on the membership page. Our staff check the CNIC and photos before the profile goes live, and if anything is unclear it comes back with a note saying what to fix.

Questions

Can I see only Shia or only Sunni rishtas?

Yes. Set “same sect only” as a deal-breaker and only profiles that share your sect are suggested. This is never relaxed, even if it means a shorter list.

Can I filter by mother tongue?

Not as a filter. Mother tongue and languages are shown on each profile so your family can decide, but they do not remove profiles from your suggestions.

Are divorced or widowed profiles shown to us?

Only if you include them. You choose which marital statuses you would accept, and “unmarried only” can be set as a deal-breaker.

Do we see rishtas from outside Karachi?

Yes, if they fit your preferences. A profile in the same city as yours counts in its favour when your list is ranked, and you can limit suggestions to particular countries.
