How your city counts

When your daily list is ranked, a profile whose city is the same as yours gets extra weight. The comparison is on the city name as each family typed it, so write it the usual way — “Gujranwala”, not a neighbourhood or an abbreviation — or a family in your own city may not get that extra weight.

Profiles from Lahore, Sialkot, Gujrat and everywhere else still appear when they fit your preferences. They are treated like any other profile from a different city.

Looking at the nearby cities

• On the daily list you can narrow what you see to one city at a time, chosen from the cities on that day’s list.
• Add a pin on your home in Settings if you like. It stays private until you allow another family’s request to share numbers.
• If you ask our team for help, staff can search within a chosen distance — 5 km up to 500 km — of a point on the map, among families who have added a pin.

Biradari, in three strengths

Caste is required on every profile: Jatt, Arain, Butt, Rajput, Gujjar, Sheikh, Malik and others. In your preferences you can leave caste open, choose the castes you would consider, or make “same caste only” a deal-breaker that is never relaxed. Marking caste as most important gives matching profiles more weight without hiding the rest.

Brothers, sisters and who is already married

The family section records how many brothers and sisters there are and how many of each are married, plus the parents’ names and work and the family set-up. It saves a round of questions in the first conversation.

Registering

Choose Pakistan as your country: the ID is your CNIC and fees are in Pakistani rupees, with plans on the membership page. Our staff match the photos against the CNIC and confirm the date of birth before anyone sees the profile.
