ShaddiNikah

Rishta in Multan

A family in Multan often looks for a rishta across South Punjab as a whole — a nearby district, a relative’s town, or a family that speaks the same language at home. ShaddiNikah records the details that make that search easier, and our staff check every profile before it is shown.

Create AccountHow it works

What a profile tells you about language and place

Language is shown, not filtered. A rishta is never hidden from you because of a mother tongue; your family reads it and decides.

  • Mother tongue — a required answer. Saraiki, Punjabi and Urdu are all options, alongside Sindhi, Pashto, Balochi, English and Arabic.
  • Other languages spoken, chosen from the same list, so you can see whether Saraiki or Punjabi will be shared at home.
  • The city where the person lives, the home town, and the city where the family lives — three separate answers.
  • Province, for anyone living in Pakistan.

Searching beyond the city

Your daily list is not limited to Multan. Profiles from other cities appear whenever they fit your preferences, while a profile from your own city gets extra weight in the ranking.

Families can put a pin on their home in Settings. It is optional, and another family sees it only once you allow their request to share numbers. If you would like our team to help, staff can also search by distance — from 5 km up to 500 km around a point on the map — among families who have placed a pin, and send interest from your account with you.

Maslak

For Muslim profiles, maslak is required: Sunni, Shia, Deobandi, Barelvi, Ahl-e-Hadith or other. If your family will only consider your own maslak, set “same sect only” as a deal-breaker; it is never relaxed. Without it, maslak is shown on each profile for your family to judge.

A son or daughter working abroad

If a son works in the Gulf while the family stays in Multan, the profile can show both: the country he lives in, his city there, and the family’s home here. In your preferences you can list the countries you would accept a rishta from.

Questions

Is Saraiki listed as a mother tongue?

Yes. Saraiki is one of the mother tongue options, and it can also be chosen as another language spoken.

Can we find rishtas within a certain distance of Multan?

There is no distance setting in your own account. Our staff can search by distance for you, among families who have placed a home pin, if you contact the team.

Can we only see families of our own maslak?

Yes. Set “same sect only” as a deal-breaker and profiles with a different maslak are not suggested.

Which papers do we need to register from Multan?

Your CNIC, front and back, a selfie holding it, and the front of each parent’s CNIC. Fees are in Pakistani rupees, and plans are on the membership page.
